No Lie...Over A Decade!

I've owned my Dr. Marten 8699 boots since 2000, that's right...since 2000!!! The uppers are still in great shape. The eyelets are worn through the black plating to the brass. The soles are almost worn smooth. But all of the stitching is still tact, and none of the hardware ever broke or came loose...amazing! The boots are still so comfortable that I wear them 2 or three times a week unless there's snow. Unfortunately, these boots are not insulated or waterproof.

I still remember back to when I first put them on. They literally needed no break-in time, they were comfortable right away. I'm finally going to break down and purchase a new pair. Hopefully the quality is still as high and the comfort is still as good.
